About Us
Elite Pickleball Retreats was created by Aaron Reznik, Matt Slowinski, and Alex Szczepkowski — three coaches and pro players with a vision to create a pickleball training and vacation experience unlike anything the sport has ever seen. Their goal is simple: combine top-tier coaches and instruction with unforgettable destinations to help players transform their game while enjoying paradise.
Aaron and Matt first co-founded Montclair Pickleball in 2021, turning it into New Jersey’s largest pickleball academy with three locations serving over 5,000 players per year. They also built The Pickleball Clinic, pickleball’s largest online pickleball community, reaching millions of players around the globe with news, coaching content, and entertainment. After meeting Alex (who was known as “the best coaching in South Jersey”) playing tournaments and countless battles, the three became friends, and then partners. All three have wins in pro tournaments and DUPRs above 5.0, with Alex reaching a high of 6.1. The three have each coached over 1000 players from beginners to 5.0+ players training to go pro.
Their goal was to design retreats that go far beyond traditional camps or vacations — experiences that challenge players to grow their game while surrounded by beauty, comfort, and community. Each Elite Pickleball Retreat combines instruction from high-level coaches with goal-setting, fitness training, mindset development, and seminars from pro players, and even private lessons for each player.
Set in beautiful resorts, each retreat offers world-class courts, beaches, excursions, and everything you’d expect from a luxury getaway, along with some of the best pickleball coaches in the world.
